Here is my Toe themed playlist. I've picked music that to me shares something with the music of Toe - some music has direct and obvious similarities, others less tangible. There is music here that is no doubt inspired by Toe and some I suspect may have influenced Toe themselves, as well as music that shares common influences with Toe. I've intentionally picked artists from different scenes and musical communities, in the hopes of curating a playlist that centers around a similarity to Toe while being diverse. Most of the music here is of similar vintage to Toe's output, and I hope this playlist might introduce Toe fans to music that they hadn't previously been aware of. Most of the artists presented here have rich bodies of work themselves, output that is well worth diving into should something prick your ear. I hope you enjoy,

pennines are four friend-mates from the fine city of norwich in the united kingdom. they started making music together in 2006 and at present haven't recorded music together since 2009. they have been playing together again recently and are working towards a new recording of old songs yet released. more details on this thoroughly uninteresting piece of human history can be found in this article: tv is better / pennines.
some recordings of music they've made can be found on the music page as well as live videos on the video page.

here's a youtube playlist of live footage from back in the day.
the shows in paris were part of a tour we did with the amazing fago.sepia. our jem couldn't get time of work for the french shows so in those videos you'll see the wonderful bob from super tennis playing the absolute drums.
